Nevada’s 2024 Election by the Numbers

  • 2024 General Turnout: 1,487,887 (72.84% of registered voters)
  • 2024 General Election Workers: 4,500+

Nevada’s 2024 elections were free, fair, and secure.

For the primary elections, more than 300,000 Nevadans turned out to vote.

Nearly 1.5 million Nevadans, more than 72% of registered voters, turned out for the general elections in November. During that election, 4,500 election workers made sure voting was a smooth and secure process for voters across the state.

In 2024, as in other elections, ballots in Nevada were subject to strict chain-of-custody requirements, which means election officials were required by law to monitor and track every ballot through each stage of the collection and counting process. These chain-of-custody requirements apply to all ballots—whether they were cast by mail, placed in a secure drop box, or cast in person.

In Nevada, the outcomes for all major statewide and national elections were called within five days. All counties in the state certified the results for the general election by November 15, 2024.
